With more than 30 years experience in the long term health care field, Barbara Wagner is one of the most knowledgeable Skilled Nursing Care Administrators in the area. Since joining McKnight Place Extended Care in 1996 she has maintained a deficiency free facility from annual state inspections. She is also responsible for creating a Resident's Weight Committee for better health, expanded choices for meals and she prides herself on creating a cohesive group of caretakers to provide the excellent care for the residents.

Tracy is a licensed Missouri Nursing Home Administrator. Tracy comes to McKnight Place Extended care after enjoying a career as a member of RPI Therapy team since 2004. She holds an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration from Lindenwood University. Tracy has received the Dementia Care Master Clinician Certificate, the Rehabilitation Excellence Award and also the Rehabilitation Department Award from the National Health Care Organization.

Carolyn recently joined the McKnight Place Extended Care Team as the Director of Nursing in 2011. Her nursing career started over 20 years ago in Med/Surg, Rehab, and Psych. She also opened and managed 3 clinics, surgical, ambulatory, and urgent care. As a corporate employee and Physician Liaison her role included marketing, training, with an emphasis on ensuring profitability. For 7 years Carolyn was responsible for international recruitment of nurses in St. Louis. She recruited, educated, and trained nurses from the Philippines, Africa, India, and Seoul. More recently she has worked in long term and intermediate care as an Area Director throughout the Midwest and then locally as a Director of Nurses. Her focus has and always will be to provide excellent patient care and customer service.

Christina joined McKnight Place Extended Care in 2011. She works with families and residents to facilitate the transition to our community. She worked previously as the Director of Admissions and Clinical Services at a St. Louis area agency. Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Anthropology from Truman State University and a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Missouri.

As Medical Director at McKnight Place Extended Care Dr. Kaiser is the personal physician for over 75% of our residents residing within the building. He is a member of both the American Geriatrics Society and the American Medical Directors Association. He is the "house physician" available 24/7 for the medical needs of our residents. Dr. Kaiser has a magnificent "bedside manner" spending time with both the residents and their families. He is compassionate and understanding and a true asset to our McKnight Place Extended Care family.

Pam has been the Activity Director at McKnight Place Extended Care for 10 years and has 19 years of experience working in activities. She brings with her a unique and always creative approach to making the resident's days more enjoyable with her never ending ideas. She is responsible for overseeing the many parties and events held here at McKnight Place for the residents. Her creativity is shown with the many crafts she helps the residents create, the implementation of new activities such as Aromatherapy and her unending energy she puts forth in all her projects for the residents.

Mary Ann has been with McKnight since 1998 as Director of Social Services. Mary Ann has a valuable role within our facility because she initiates and organizes the care plans for our residents. Also, she coordinates transportation needs, works with the four specialty physicians who come into our facility, arranges for phone, cable, and internet services and is the Resident Council Coordinator. Mary Ann is our "jack of all trades" and does her job with a smile on her face and a song in her heart.

Annette Harris
Resident Care Supervisor

Annette has been with McKnight Place Extended Care since 1998 in a variety of integral roles and in 2003 she was given a unique position of Resident Care Supervisor. Annette is a liaison between the nurses and the certified nursing aides who provide the direct care of our residents. She is involved in providing care to our residents and oversight and training to our valuable certified nursing aides who provide the “frontline care” to our residents. Annette has a remarkable talent for endearing herself to both the residents, families and staff and helps keep the everyday operations of our beautiful facility running smoothly.

Greg Nolde
Director of Food Service

Greg Nolde has been the Director of Food Service at McKnight Place Extended Care since 2009. Greg has over 25 years of experience in food service since graduating from Southwest Missouri State with his degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He has also taken the apprenticeship course at Forest Park and is a Certified Working Chef.

Greg works closely with our dietitian to create the menus that our residents enjoy. He works closely with Resident Council to help create new experiences for them. Greg is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure every resident has an enjoyable dining experience.

Abigail Murray
Admissions Coordinator

Abby has been in the Senior care industry since 2004, first working at Montclair Independent Living in Springfield, Missouri. It was there that Abby discovered her passion to work with the elderly. She went on to graduate from Missouri State University with her Bachelors in Gerontology. After spending 3 years as the Activity Director and Adult Day Club Manager at another long term care community in the St. Louis area, Abby joined the McKnight Place Extended Care team as the Admissions Coordinator in 2010. Abby brings her enthusiasm and caring expertise to the McKnight Place Campus.

Elaine Corser-McCafferty, RN
Assistant Director of Nursing

Elaine joined the McKnight Place Extended Care team in 2006 and brings with her over 15 years of nursing experience, important to her role of assisting our Director of Nursing. She worked previously as a manager in an acute care hospital specializing in oncology, as an office nurse specializing in vascular surgery and as Assistant Director of Nursing in a long term care facility. Elaine oversees the training and daily operations of our professional nursing staff, ensuring that our Residents continue to receive the highest quality care. She also works with staff and families to develop individualized care plans for each Resident.

Peggy Rodgers
Office Manager

Peggy joined the McKnight Place Extended Care team in 2009 as office manager. She comes to us from the Gatesworth at One McKnight where she was a personal associate since 2002. Peggy holds a Bachelors in Arts from University of Missouri St. Louis and a Masters of Science in Human Resources from Lindenwood University. She oversees the human resources and employee relations regarding sourcing, interviewing, and selecting talented candidates to join the staff at McKnight Place Extended Care.
